Sponsorships through FujianKids provide children with the emotional and material support they need to thrive. To sponsor a child is to give that child hope, a home, and a future.

FujianKids has three sponsorship programs--Foster Care, Student, and Special Education sponsorships.

Foster Care Sponsorship

The Fuzhou orphanage is one of the larger ones in Fujian Province. Children are most likely to experience the negative effects of institutionalization in a large orphanage, so the foster care program here is especially important. A child can be sponsored in a foster family for $50 per month, or $1.64 a day. Half sponsorships are also available at $25 per month.

Student Sponsorship

In rural areas, orphaned children have a particularly difficult time getting an education. By sponsoring a child in this program, you can make sure that he or she gets an education and has a chance to escape a life of poverty. Education sponsorships are $28 a month (less than a dollar a day). These sponsorships help lift a child from poverty and change their lives forever (see more information about the student sponsorship program).

Special Education Sponsorship

Orphanage children with special needs often cannot attend school. Our special education classes in the Fuzhou and Nanping orphanages provide these children with opportunities to learn to the best of their ability and enhance their life skills. $25 a month sponsors a share of one of these classrooms.
