A thoughtful way to celebrate Mother's Day, Christmas, a birthday, adoption anniversary, or other occasion is to send a gift in someone's name to the children in Fujian Province orphanages. When you make a donation or purchase items for the orphanage children, you will receive a gift card for you to send to the person in whose honor the purchase is made, along with a brief description of the FujianKids program the gift is sponsoring.

Gifts

Bouncers for Babies. In some orphanages with many babies to care for, it is difficult for caregivers to give every baby as much attention and stimulation as he or she needs. Bouncy baby seats are a way to provide some stimulation to these little ones and increase their comfort. You can provide a bouncer seat for an orphanage for just $8.

Clothes for Kids. Orphanages have limited resources, and it's sometimes difficult to meet their children's clothing needs. Active toddlers wear out their clothes quickly, school age children need suitable clothing so they can fit in with their classmates, and winter coats are expensive. For $20, you can purchase a complete clothing outfit for an orphanage teenager or a pre-teen (including new underwear and shoes) or outfits for several younger children. A Month of Education. In rural areas, children who lose one or both parents when they are older usually don't go to an orphanage but are cared for by relatives. When these relatives are poor, they often cannot afford to pay for the orphaned child's education and they may receive no education at all, or drop out of school at an early age.
