FujianKids sponsors foster care for special needs children at the Fuzhou Children's Welfare Institute, one of the larger orphanages in Fujian Province. Children are most likely to experience the negative effects of institutionalization in a large orphanage, so the foster care program here is especially important.
The cost of a foster care is $50 per month, and donors can choose to be either full sponsors or half sponsors ($25 per month). This is less than the cost of one cup of coffee a day and is a small price to pay to change a child's life forever. Sponsors receive photos of their child and updates three times a year.
One time contributions to the foster care program are also very helpful. They allow us to place needy children in foster care immediately and cover the interim cost of this care until a sponsor is found. Click here to donate to the Foster Care General Fund.
